08-10 Side View Cameras?
I recently just purchased my first super duty and was wondering if there is a way to add side view cameras like on some of the newer vehicles.
I have already installed a Kenwood dnr1007XR that supports four camera inputs, and and I data link maestro RR unit that is all hooked up and functiong properly
I am going to retain my factory rear view camera system as it is in the rearview mirror and I feel no need to modify that, but I did install the HD Kenwood camera as a backup camera. I would like to find out if there is a way to install the side view cameras to work and be triggered when the left and or right turn signals turn on. I can buy the cameras and install them and run all the wires, but I just do not know if my vehicle in particular can tell the idatalink unit if the turn signals are on or not.
Please let me know if anyone has any ideas or thoughts.
