Have a look on the passenger side wheel well, somewhere in the neighborhood of the voltage regulator

Are you sure? I mean i haven't had the chance to attempt but it seems a little far off to be able to reach that area. Could be wrong but do you see where the cable ends at? on the driver side of the engine. However it could possibly make sense. since the cable appears to have a good amount of slack left. Also what does this cable do? provide power to connections when truck is in the on position?

No I’m not sure lol now that you post that pic. There’s connections on the drivers inner fender lower down towards the firewall, but I don’t remember seeing one like that there. It’s also been a long time since I’ve looked too. If it’s not there, double check on the passenger side, that connector looks similar to mine on the passenger side.

If it’s the connection I’m thinking of (which may be wrong) it powers the fss on the pump and glowplugs among a lot of other things. I had a fuse link get cut and kill power to the ip and glowplugs. Took me awhile to figure it out

Man oh man I'm really hoping it's the cable that powers the FSS. this is like the final thing I can think of that would get this truck running. I'm getting no power to the FSS and other injection pump components and can't figure out why. Will be looking tomorrow and will keep u updated.

Unhappy

Passenger side wheel well(area above passenger side battery)

Passenger side wheel well(area above passenger side battery) p.2

Driver side wheel well, closer to the firewall

driver side under frame

After looking everywhere in these areas (and others not shown), I STILL can't seem to find where this plug goes into. Any other ideas anybody? I feel I've looked everywhere under in between and on top.
