So I have this annoying check engine light yelling at me with a code 32with KOEO. I've checked all of the vacuum lines, replaced the egr position sensor and checked the egr tube for cracks and such. The engine light will flash when I'm accelerating or cruising down the interstate but nothing at idle. It runs fine but seeing the light flash and knowing it's throwing a code is driving me up the wall. I'm going to be swapping the motor out but everything on the top end is just going to be swapped over so I want to get this fixed now before I do the swap. Any ideas short of replacing the egr valve? It seems to me if it were the valve itself the light would come on and stay on, not flash.
Could be the computer itself, when was it last inspected? Also don't overlook the possibility of wiring damage... that gets more likely the older a vehicle gets.
Code 32 (KOEO/KOER)EVP circuit below minimum voltage of 0.24 volts.
The EGR valve diaphragm/spring may have collapsed. Check the EVP sensor feedback output KOEO to verify it is in range. Typical is 0.24 to 0.67 VDC. If you are on the low end it could be the EGR valve as mentioned or the EVP sensor. It's tough to decipher which one since the EGR valve preloads the EVP sensor.

I had the ecm out last year. It's a remaned unit from Cardone. I found a replacement pigtail for the pressure sensor. I'll test the wiring and see what I find. Would be nice if it was just a simple wiring issue. Don't really want to spend the money on a new valve. Unless it's needed obviously.

I just checked and it's right at .45v koeo and .49v at idle. Also the 5v reference signal is there. The vacuum lines are all ok.
Update: Just went to the store and the check engine light never flickered or came on. Makes me think there was just a loose connection somewhere. Hopefully that was it.
