1991 E-350 Sliding Door Question

I couldn't find a diagram for the 91 with more than just 6 components on it so I'm hoping that up to 89 is similar. Can anyone tell me what the purpose of the assembly with part number 268A26, at the bottom left of the diagram, is?
I'm trying to find the part responsible for holding the door open on a hill, as mine does not do that. And that is the only spring loaded component I could find that might aid in that.

I’m not familiar with that van but wherever that mechanism is, there should be a rod or cable from the door handle to release it. Maybe the parts diagram with the door handle shows it.

That is just a ball bearing roller on a bracket
Buy that and the top one if you can find them
