Speed Sensor
Is the speed sensor the same part on a digital all wheel drive Aerostar as on a mechanical speedo 2 wheel drive? My speedo quit working and the tranny will not go into overdrive so I am trying to replace the speed sensor. I am having a heck of a time locating the sensor on my all wheel drive van. Any info would be appreciated.

The speed sensors and the speedometer shaft are all located on the transfer case. The rear shaft sensor is on top near output shaft. The front shaft sensor is located on driver side of transfer case on the top towards the rear of the case also. The speedo shaft is located on driver side of transfer case towards the front of the case.
