2rd Brake Light Camera
Traded my 2022 CC single cab for a 22 crew cab Lariat. Lariat has reverse camera on the tail gate but no 3rd brake light camera for hooking the goose. Am I able to add the OEM 3rd light with camera, do I need to have Forscan to enable it or am I outta luck? New truck has the big monitor and a lot of upgrades for a Lariat. New to ford's so any help is appreciated

I'm sure it could be added, and very likely would need some sort of programming adjustment to make it function.
But, I have the camera on mine, and have been very disappointed in its performance, poor resolution.
I end up still just looking out the rear window to hook up to a 5th wheel trailer.

RearViewSafty.com. High quality and resolution cameras and screens. I have had mine for almost 10 years now. Cannot believe the reported poor quality of ford’s oem cameras. They sound like Ford’s music/news centers and towing gps systems - just toss in some cheap junk charging exorbitant prices, but make it hard to remove to upgrade, and call it good. Basic truck drivetrain still good, but trims and options are where the money is.
