6.0 Low Power issue
I pulled the cab in January put new DK o-ringed heads, ARP studs, new LPOP, HPOP, OEM standpipes, OEM gaskets, pulsar turbo 10 blade kit, sinister blue spring kit, CAC boots and pipes, Ford OEM oil cooler and few other misc things like banjo fittings.
Truck ran great till about August. I lost a injector on the way to work. Replaced all injectors with DCP reman injectors. Truck fired off but suffered from low power. I had to get a load of hay so I hooked up and on the way home pickup would die while hot. So I pulled it back apart, replaced nipples and o-rings in the oil rail. Replaced stand pipes again. Put it all together and truck wouldn’t start. Ended up being the FICM. Replaced ficm and harness. And checked/ rewraped the main harness. Truck fired off. Still low power. So i pulled the turbo off, cleaned the veins and unison ring. Went ahead and replaced the vgt solenoid. Still low power. Pressure tested CAC system. Found a little leak by the MAP on the intake. Not enough to cause my issue but I sealed it. Replaced clean EBP sensor and tube. Truck still has low power.
I’m now believing it may be these cheap injectors. I am using Snap-On APOLLO9. All pids seem to be spec. Any advice? *also running a SCT on a performance tune at the moment.
