Hello forum. I pulled the transmission from my newly acquired 1992 F150 to replace the front pump seal, and when I got the pump out, I found these markings (painted 3 or M) inside the trans case. Obviously, someone has been there before.
The truck did not come with complete maintenance records. I do know that it has lived its entire life in Northern California, around the bay area. Does it identify a trans shop maybe? Any ideas what I'm looking at here?
