Also the FICM was only held on by the front bracket. Can somebody show me a picture of the rear bracket that I’m missing please and thanks. It’s a 2005
There were two different set-ups for the FICM bracket in 2005.
"All 2003 to early 2005 model year engines use stud type hardware to retain the thermostat housing, where the EBP sensor mounting bracket secures over top of that with nuts. Late 2005 and newer engines use only conventional bolts to secure the housing, due to the EBP sensor being relocated rearward, secured to the front FICM bracket."
I'd go to the nearest Pick U Part place for that bracket. No one ever takes those, but they grab the FICM fast, so most of the removal work will even be done for you. Just check their inventory for a late model 6.0, they go get it.
When you told me that you got it to start after cranking awhile, I suspected a dummy plug/standpipe. That's often the leak point for slow starts/hot no-starts. That's almost surely your problem. Shaking my head that the PO would sell his truck as a non-runner (presumably for a low price), after doing all the work on it, without even checking the o-rings. Geezus, that 84IPR reading tells you it's a leak.

Ya you betcha. She starts and idles good now. I found a used bracket that should be here by Monday. Just waiting for that and a couple other little things and I can take it out on a proper test drive. Thanks
Ok finally got this thing all buttoned up and took it for about a 10 mile drive. It starts good but idles rough and seems like a misfire while cruising at 1/2 throttle or less. Seems to pull hard at WOT once the turbo spools. No engine light. Could this still be air trapped in the system or do I have other issues? Thanks
