Glow plug electrode missing

I’ve got a 1996 f350 w/7.3 PSD.
and recently decided to do injectors on it
when I was pulling the glow plugs, glow plug on cylinder 3 had the electrode broken off. And I used a bore scope to see if I could see it in the glow plug hole… I could not. And I couldn’t really see any evidence of it falling into the combustion chamber and marring up the top of the piston with my bore scope. So I have no clue where it could of gone. Picture below is what’s broken off. And I cannot seem to see it.. or evidence of it ruining the top of the piston. Any advice or next steps as to what to do..?

I would do a compression test.

i have heard that once they crack at the tip, they end up burning away inside the head

if it was ingested by the engine, hopefully it did so with out damage

trust the scope view or pull the head
