I saw a story posed a while back about a guy with just over 1M miles on his 7.3. He tows for a living with it.

Makes me feel good about buying one with "only" 80,000 on it!! Got all the maintenance records from the owner and he never missed an item.

I was shopping around and saw a 99 with 350,000 + on it. My truck is a 97 and has 209,000. Only major work was replacing the dual mass flywheel and clutch.

I saw a2001 with 474000 miles it went through 3 clutches supposebly thats it

Man, I feel good about my truck now!! I bought my '95 F-250 PSD last year with 57,000 miles on it! I found the records where the oil was changed every 3,000 with Rotella 15W40. So I'll do the same. I guess as long as the rest of the truck holds up {it's like brand new inside & out} it will be the last truck I need for a looong time!
