I have a crappy old door on a 1963 F100. I had picked up a spare door a few years ago that I was planning to use. I just realized that the drivers side door does not have a keyed exterior door lock. I thought that they quit doing that in 1958. The door looks right. The interior hardware from the green passenger door transferred into the passenger red door with no problem. Is this green door for a 61 - 66? What is the difference in the 1957 door to the slick door?
Looking to replace the red door with the green door. The green door does not have a keyed exterior door on the drivers side door

Picture of the interior of the green door.
Looks like your green door is off of a unibody truck.
Only one door had the key lock on mine and I think it was the passenger's side. A template I made to make the hole for a door lock is in the following thread.
Well shoot. I have a door for a Uni. Two doors really. If I use it I suppose the door crease wont come close to matching up. Next option is door #3. A white Custom Cab door from a 65. It has a bit of rust and a hole to fill but no where near as bad as the red door.

The body line will line up just fine. Go ahead and use the green door.
You can’t see both sides of the truck at the same time.
Heck, put both Uni doors on if you got ‘em.
My 62 Uni driver door doesn’t have an exterior lock either.
