That is a nice job.
I cheated and used silver paint on mine, they need to be painted again as they are showing a little wear but it has been 3 years now.
I also used a bike inner tube cut to size and punched a hole in the bottom for water to drain. They are on my 81 F100 driver / weekend trash run and take to shows truck.

And yes the hooks are not in right and yes they can pop out as I found 1 undone when I got to a show and when I started putting them the other way.
