Adding driving lights to the # 4 upfitter switch, brown wire on the 2016. Lights are installed, relay is in and tied into the #4 brown wire in the engine bay. Found the pass through wires in the cab left of the steering wheel. Question is, where do I tie that #4 brown lead to to get it to the #4 switch? Do I need to run that to the switch? Or do the switches have leads running somewhere. Thanks
I found the leads from the switches tied to a wire harness up on the left side of the steering collum. There is another set of wires that run through the firewall also tied up there. So all you would need to do is butt connect the wire from the switch to the wire running through the firewall.
Thanks ShelbyHauler. I’ll have to find that second set of leads. Sure would have made things easier if Ford would have just ran the leads from the switch into the engine compartment and given you about 4” more wire to work with. But that would ave cost them $0.07 more per truck.

if they did that then you wouldn't get the privilege of cutting up your knuckles, its like a right of passage-
