powered Tailgate Weight allowed?
Need to carry a 450 lb 400cc MC and was wondering if I can place it in the bed tied down with the powered tailgate down?
Unable to find info on what weight the tailgate will hold? Easier than renting a Uhaul trailer to drag across state if I can do it. Thanks.

All 450 lb on the tailgate? That's a tough one; doubt you are going to find a spec...

On the F1 50s where you get the step built in to the tailgate, there's a placard on the step that says 300 pounds max. Keep in mind that is extended out on the actual step so I would think several hundred pounds up on top of the tailgate itself would not be a big deal. Also, keep in mind that three full grown men could easily sit on the end of the tailgate and I'm sure across the years have thousands and thousands of times. That could easily exceed 400 pounds as well.
