i believe it's 500 lbs. my tailgate step has a weight rating of 500 lbs and it is attached to the tailgate so i would think that the tailgate is also rated at 500 lbs!

I think 500lbs is right. Know that the tailgate does not bear all of the weight when loading (as some is passed through the ramps to the ground). If you have any concerns, just pull the tailgate off (super easy) and put the ramps right to the bed lip.

I have hauled my razor in back of f150 and my f250 with rear wheels on tailgate. No problem if your concerned take 2x8 broards and park on them too even out weight. I use 7 foot arch ramps to load.

500 lbs. Pretty common rating. I would suggest atv arched ramps rated to handle the weight of the atv (or utv) so to minimize bottoming out.

Yes, it's 500 lbs. I just confirmed this with my dealer and my local ATV shop. On a side note, the arched aluminum ramps work the best IMO for loading and unloading my ATV.
