BorgWarner 1356

Can someone tell me the difference in these tags? Driveshaft seems too long for the new tcase. Thanks

Well one difference is the F2 case may have a VSS port while the F5 most definitely will not. But my experience has been that all 1356s regardless of year of manufacture have the same external dimensions as long as they use the same type of rear output (fixed yoke or flange vs. slip yoke). What truck do you have? The only way the drives haft can come up too long is if your original t-cases has a fixed yoke or flange (typical for Broncos, never seen it in a pickup but that don't really mean anything) while your new unit clearly has a slip-yoke design with the long tail associated with that.
