could you show us your driveshaft so we have an idea? I have a single piece drive shaft, and only two piece driveshaft knowledge i have is that they have splines that they can adjust to different lenghts to a determined amount by riding on the splines which is usually covered with a boot and has grease. sometimes called slipshaft

a double cardan has a centering piece maybe you mean that? Throw us a bone pls

I assume the spicer would be for a Dana diff which I believe would be potentially in back but most likely in front? If one had a 4x4, but what rear you have? Sterling?

u joint pop, and it smacked the ground?
or u joint pop and it sheared itself on the output of trans?
