Forgive me, I've been a regular on the '48-56 forever, know very little about the newer trucks. Anyone have information about this truck that was posted on a thread on the '48-56 board?


what was it used for? Anyone here own it?

 

I have never seen anything like it. I wonder how short the driveshaft is.

After I posted I did a little internet searching. It looks like it was an airport pull truck.

 

Definetly looks like an airport tug. Here's a pic of a mobile home toter. The rear frame slides inside the front frame on rollers. 2 driveshafts. One short, the other long. Short to pull the mobile home, long when running empty so it has a better ride


Yep it's a Stude, but they made them from Ford's too
