The rear blinker is the brake light also. There is no separate bulb for the blinker and the stop light. There is a separate filament in the bulb for the running or taillight.

I am aware but none the less if i press the brake and havd my left blinker on I can't see the blinker
LOL in that case being you need to hold the lever and the light not working right on the other side I would replace the turn signal switch.

To make sure I'm straight on your issue, the turn signals work correctly on both sides without the brake being applied but when the brake is applied only the left side stops blinking?
Besides your cam lock mechanism being broken on the right it would seem to me that if the above is true than the turn signal switch is doing its job. I would look at the wiring diagram and look for other possible issues, the flasher unit perhaps. It would be nice to have the right cam lock working though so it wouldn't be a complete waste of time and money.

The left side still blinks when the brakes on it just isn't bright enough to be seen when I have the housing on if I check it out of the housing and look at the element it's still blinks a bit when I have the blinker onThe flasher should be new as of 5 months ago but i can try to confirm that and yeah having cam lock functional would be great
I agree with fuzz, it must be the turnsignal switch. There are two inputs for the rear lights on the bright side of the bulbs; 1. the brake switch, 2. the flasher.
If the switch is in the middle, both rear bulbs are attached to the brake switch. If you turn the switch to the left, the switch lifts the bulb off the brake switch, and puts it on the flasher circuit, while leaving the right side brake still attached to the brake switch.
Sounds like the switch is not lifting the bulb off the brake switch when it's moved to the left.

So I understand your issue, when you use only the left blinker with no brake is the brightness normal? What happens with the emergency flashers are on?
The guide shows the innards of the dual-filament bulbs, and explains which filament should illuminate when. This is very important, so don’t skip this step.
It also has you install jumpers in place of the flasher units. With the flashers out of the equation, troubleshooting is simplified.
