What is this sensor?

Hey guys, this is my first post here. I'm new to all this diesel stuff and I have a 7.3 excursion. It's in pretty good shape and I'm fixing a few things on it. It's had low boost since day one and I'm servicing the turbo system. It's got the GTP 38 R upgraded turbo. It's actually still in great shape so the turbo is going back on. The wastegate actuator was shot and there was no clamp on the rear of the turbo so that was the source of low boost for sure.

Anyway, the sensor shown was disconnected when I purchased it. Still attached to a plug. Can someone tell me what this is and where it should be plugged in?

Exhaust back pressure valve. Front of the pedestal if it wasn't deleted.

BTW, welcome to FTE. There's an Excursion page
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum29/

And a 7.3 page
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum31/

Helpful members on each of these pages but depending on your issue at hand going forward, you may have more helpful eyes looking in one of these also.

Heres a video that may serve as helping track boost leaks incase you have more than one.

Awei, thanks. It was deleted when the upgrade turbo was installed. The pedestal I have, has no valve.

Can I remove this sensor from the plug?
