I have a 2008 Ford E-450 (my first Ford) motor home. Last weekend I started getting an intermittent miss. Got home and hooked up the scanner and got a P0304. Ok probably coil pack, plug. injector, or vacuum leak. When I pulled the dog house off inside the cab (first time I have had it off) the first thing I see on the passenger side is a partially open hole on the back of the cylinder head. I am thinking this does not look right. I go to the Ford parts house and he shows me a new plenum. It looks like mine (nothing broken or missing on mine). He gets a plenum gasket out (same gasket for either side) and it is fitted around the open hole just like mine is. I have enclosed a picture or two showing this and hopefully some of you guys can shed some light on this. I really appreciate any feedback!!
The Boltman
This has been discussed here before but I'll be switched if I can remember what it is supposed to do. IIRC the consensus or knowledge base said it was of no concern.
