Gapping a plug involves an electromagnetic machine (most autopart stores have them) that hooks up to the plug. The machine then charges the plug with positive and negative nutrons that de-static the plug to a certain degree.
Each plug has a certain de-staticed tolerance. These tolerances are galled Gaps.
New plugs generally come pre-gapped from the factory when you buy them at the auto store. However, many times, especially if they sit on a shelf long enough, the nutrons can reverse and begin to re-static the plug.
So, whenever I buy new plugs, I take them to the parts counter and have them machine gapped at their specified tolerance.
If the tolerances are off, your plug won't fire properly you could lose performance.
Also, the plug could ooze green slim like that from Ghostbusters and can even bring ghosts back from the dead. These awakened ghosts, in their aggravated state, can cause serious damage to your engine.
So always gap your plugs when you buy them.

haven't checked todays mail...I suspect tomorrow will be the lucky day. If not then, definately Wednessday. See, I ordered the chip by phone and sent Motohave a check for it. They gotta recieve the check for security purposes, so it takes a little longer. Plus I had to wait over the weekend.

I hit the interstate this morning about 6am.........I decided to speed a little, as soon as I hit the ramp i hammered it and it seems as soon as i got on I hit 100.................shows over. Im sure your truck is the same,they jump to 100 like its nothing.......Cant wait till u get that chip and if it removes it im ordering mine from the same place and everything.........I hope u get it soon.

A little bad news on the chip. I called Motorhaven today to see if they mailed it out yet and they haven't. They have to wait for my check to clear before they can mail it. 
It's policy though, so I'm not really surprised. It will be to the end of the week or beginning of next week now. grrrr...

This is why my capitol1 is only for my truck...even though its my only credit card, LoL. Any how, give us an update once it gets to ya. You should run at the track this week, and then check against a run after install.

No..I mean its physical location man....come on.....are they going to ship it straight off the internet? your chip just 'pops' out teh telephone line...though that would be kinda cool..instant delivery!
