SYNC4

Every time I start the truck the sync 4 screen always on settings tab instead of the last thing that was on .. Apple care play or radio or etc? When the truck was shut off..Anyone else have this problem?

Anyone have any recommendations?

Yes my Synch4 is inconsistent. Sometimes shutting off completely. Takes 5 to 30 seconds to load.

I couldn't agree more! On the other hand, I do enjoy my creature comforts... but sometimes I miss the simplicity of my '86 F-150 when my most high-tech things were working A/C and an AM/FM radio. (Also miss the manual trans)

FWIW, my wife's Fusion has Sync 3 and the startup screen is normally whatever it was when turned off, but it has done something weird, including turning itself off and on, a few times.

About a week ago my SYNC3 got "stuck" during boot up. It stayed stuck for about 20 minutes as I drove home. When I stopped for gas and shut the truck off, the radio stayed on (and still stuck) for quite a while as I pumped gas. When I started the truck again the issue had resolved itself.

Perhaps one of those software downloads it does from time to time?
