Perfect! Hopefully they cover mine, the front camera and rear are terribly foggy and I have been holding off on spending $250+/- per camera to replace! Thank you!
Edit- I just checked my Fordpass and it looks like the recall is already showing. Hopefully they will fix the front camera also, but it only says rear for now. Campaign/NHTSA# 22S51/22V644

the recall is only for the back. My front camera is shot too. My b2b warrant is expired and my ESP doesn't cover it. Not cool.

Ironic too as I was going over the Gold Certified warranty details to see if the cameras were covered because I have the same issue on all three, tailgate, front and high mount.

The back up cam is the only federally mandated camera, so no surprise that it is the only one being replaced. Safety concern. I would have actually been very surprised if Ford was changing out all cameras out of the goodness of their heart haha.
I'm disappointed to see that the ESP doesn't cover the cameras (all of them). That's not cool. I would have assumed they are covered.
My rear camera is fine, but my front is shot. It is so cloudy I can hardly see anything. Especially in the bright sun. Oh well, we'll see what happens.
Our truck is mainly a fifth wheel hauler so much of it's time is spent in our garage out of the sun. All of my cameras are still clear but I will have it changed when the parts become available.
I will probably go to the dealer on Tuesday to get on the list for first come first serve, and see if the other cameras are also covered under the Certified warranty. If it cost's $100 deductible to replace the front and high mount, worth it.
I changed my front and rear cameras out myself. Took all of 10-15 minutes each, taking my time. I highly doubt it, but I wonder if they will reimburse you if you have already had to replace yourself....

They just might reimburse someone who had to replace it prior to this. Most of the recalls I have seen have wording about reimbursement.

Do you have more info on this? Part number for the front camera, and maybe the part blow-up? I would like to change mine now, and if it becomes covered later, worry about it then. I use that camera all the time, and would like to have it back to useable condition.
Thanks...
These are the part numbers I ordered for my 2017...
I ordered from here: www.oemford.parts/
Originally I had the wrong part ordered, but they check the VIN before fulfilling the order, so they let me know and changed it to the correct part before shipping ( after confirming with me).
Super easy to do both cameras.

I can’t speak to this, but I recently went in for the windshield wiper arm recall on my 22. I know for a fact both keys were missing, which from my understanding was the reason for the recall. The techs “inspected” mine and then told me that they were good and didn’t need replaced. So basically nothing was done. So, if your cameras look good, they just may say that yours is ok and not replace them…
