there is a daylight picture of the relay and battery. But sounds like I need a battery. I will find out soon enough. Winter will be here soon

your relay is mounted weirdly low.. but you should clean it up. that trigger wire, is it kinked badly? if thats not makign good connection It may affect(I think?)

Ya it looks bad in the picture but it's just different size covers over the wire.

timing set a little too high, will make the starter drag, when engine is at operating temp, I also vote for getting amp draw done on battery, even Walmart can do that.

I just thought I'd update on this. I got a diehard gold battery and it never made any difference. I had left the truck with my buddy to do some work and I asked him to check thr connection to see if he could find anything. So he drove it for a couple days and he noticed to when it was warm it was really drawing on the battery. I got a ac delco professional 337-1036 starter on Amazon and the truck has never started so good. Big difference.
