Headliner. My perforated cardboard liner is warped and has holes in it. Any advice before I go out and start tearing it out? I know it's going to come in pieces and I'm planning on wearing a mask. I do have plans for adding cab marker lights, so I want to do that install w wiring/routing before installing a new liner. I had a good laugh thinking I may have yhe picture below printed
on fabric and making it look like that! "Gremlin Headliner" 😂
It's a joke. I've just been staring at the thing so much over the last month tying up charging issues and circuitry that I had a good laugh think WELP it might as well be the headline by now haha
Thank-you- I ended up calling a local auto apolstry shop and they sold me a sheet of door card board for $20! Used the old one as a template and got it in! Just installed the raw board to let it take shape for now and then I'll cover it later. Not sure what I'll go with yet for fabric.
JEFFFAFA Man that's a lot of $$$$ for a piece of cardboard. I'm glad mines in really good shape.
$20?! I was ecstatic! Its the right waterproof hardboard for apoulstry. From a local guy that... when I walked into his apoulstry shop....was like the scene from Gone in 60 sec when the old gang is all back together right before the big night. All kinds of hot rods and restos around...GAWWW it was amazing.
Makeryguy I think that you misunderstood my post. I was talking about how much Dennis Carpenter wanted for a piece of cardboard not what you paid which I think was a really good deal.
I had planned on getting one of these for my truck but these might have been discontinued by the manufacturer. I am going to order one now from the only remaining google search result.
EDIT: Looks like white FT147 is sold out on the above site and they are made by a USA-based company called Repops. Can't buy direct online though it looks like. Looks like they also make a pretty cheap firewall pad too. Anyone ever used them?

AH okay yeah. For something easy to make yourself, the DC one is expensive. I'm going to incorporate the center section from the original seat back apoulstry into the headliner. Had the idea today. Red center section w the emblem, and the rest black to match the new carpet and new seat apoulstry.
