That's because Fordpass removed the ability to see those things on the trucks that didn't come with Fordpass connect (2017-2018). That information can be found on their website.
So if I add in the TCU module to my 2017, will that provide what is needed for FordPass to work properly? I'm asking cause I did this on my 2016 F150 and had most of the features working. Wondering if it's worth the extra money to add it to my F250? Guess I'll start looking for a TCU unit and go from there.
does anyone with sync3 have DEF status in their ford pass app?
I have a 2019 and can not go to sync4 due to hardware limits...we are stuck on sync3.
the distance to empty is of interest to me...some folks have this on their console as well...I dont....I have a def guage that always shows full...no distance to empty stuff.

I'm not sure about that, they just say, "vehicles without a FordPass Connect modem.." will no longer have these features. Is a TCU the FordPass connect modem?
