I recently bought a 95 f150 with the 351W. It has a check engine light and 4 trouble codes are being displayed.
Codes being displayed:
118- coolant temp sensor above max voltage
123- TPS above max voltage
113- Intake air charge sensor above max voltage
337- EGR position sensor above max voltage
I started with the TPS, I replaced it thinking just the sensor had gone bad. After I did that the code for that did not go away and I started checking the voltages. The power wire has 5.3v all the time which seems a little high, but the signal wire also shows 5.3v all the time. Doesn’t matter if it’s at idle or WOT. I’m thinking all of these issues may be linked since they’re the same kind of code. I was leaning towards a grounding issue.
Does anybody have any idea what would be causing these codes or how to diagnose them?
