Had some time on my hands so I’ve been fixing all the oddities around the truck…
so my driver seat portion (not the backrest) is bent, from the seated position it caves in to the back left towards the backrest adjustment handle. It’s very uncomfortable to say the least.
i can’t find any good info and have hesitated to remove the seat because my leather is still in very good condition. Is there a bar in there I can beat with a hammer or re weld new metal? How the hell can I fix this without replacing the whole seat?

my back and I thank you for your advice
all of the upholstery is easy to remove! take the seat out and strip it and see what is wrong. if your foam is gone the seat shop sells it.
when putting the upholstery back on use a plastic trash bag over the foam to make it slippery. the seat shop used to have a video of doing it,

Neat trick! I assume the plastic trash bag just stays in the seat, right?
