Starter issues. Tipps for roadside fix?

Well that's interesting:
228 6.0
231 6.4
243 6.7
The 6.7 certainly sounded fast, but ends up only 15rpm more than the stock starter???
I somehow lost most of my Torque logging files, but I was thinking I am getting more in the 170 rpm range...?
On edit: I found one log I did after finishing all the Ground additions and had the Odyssey Extremes in - cold start with GPM On - Cranking was only 153 RPM!

From the history of people having a no-start condition with the 6.0L starters, around 150rpm is common. If the starter is non assembly line version, and they look like the business end is the same between the years, it would make sense for an aftermarket supplier to commonize to one winding and armature standard. Visteon was the OE supplier but the last few years Ford seems to have taken supplier names off of products. You can't tell who was the supplier of brake pads anymore.

unfortunately I could not reproduce the issue, so disassembling the starter motor makes not much sense.
After the arrival of the ferry in the Netherlands we stayed overnight. The next day we drove about 7 hours home to Germany. After a rest the starter worked again at the first start attempt.
