I am thinking about ordering a 23 F 150. Without having to ask dealer when can you order?
My local dealer didn't want to order it seems. In 2019 in October I wanted to order a 2020 gas F250. They lied and said they didn't have pricing. I went to next dealer 120 miles away and they ordered on the spot

Ummm, how can you order a 23 F150 without talking to or going to a dealer to order said 23 F150.
Just curious.
I will talk to dealer to order. I deal online for the most part. My local won't deal online, saying I have to come in.
I have bought 3 without a visit except to pick it up
I ordered one and I got the "order in" email on 27 Jul. The 23 info for building a 23 isn't on Ford.com yet, but I'm told not much has changed. Go to you dealer and place an order.
I ordered one at my local dealer, got my order in email from Ford at 2am Eastern yesterday, August 9th. Go to your local dealer and you can place an order, but no telling how long our wait will be ...
What qualifies as a Job 1 build? Ford sent my order confirmation on Aug 1.
Is there a hierarchy- expensive Limiteds first or high volume XLs first? Or do they just go down the line first come/first served- 4x4, 4x2, Powerboost, Ecoboost, etc all mixed together?
Obviously I am ignorant and don’t know how the process works.
Job 1 are trucks built as the first run of a model year. Usually there is a break between Job 1 and Job 2. Job 2 trucks may have mid year updates or slight changes made.
