Those are all good ideas, but I was leaning toward laying a 16' bull panel out there, and hooking up welding leads to it.

So actually had 48 hours no rain. Woohoo. Still need windshield wipers to scrape the mold off.

Y'all have a great Sunday.

The 3.5" of rain we got today sure helped. Prior to that, we experienced 36 hours of drought conditions. The alligators roosting on my roof had become stranded.

I'm bout 20 minutes east of the interstate bridge they show of Jackson where the Pearl looks a couple miles wide.

Last week when they showed the old folks on a rope line at an assisted living home is in my town, but that was just flash flooding a low area.

Jackson has had about 4 "500 year" floods in my lifetime.

One of the issues they were talking about is jackson's DRINKING water...... That issue made national news yesterday.
Jackson needs a complete rebuild of water treatment plants and all the water lines that deliver water to the citizens.
I hear people talk about jackson news reports where they report water mains are broken and are gushing water constantly.
MAJOR $$$$$$ to get that all fixed.

I really wonder what will become of jackson.

It's unreal what some areas have to put up with. I'll take the crappy long winters where I am and not complain...as much.

Cold just takes too much out of me.

State of MS has never cared to invest in Jxn infrastructure going back to way before current flawed admin.

The fixes have been ignored for decades.

It's just more prominent & visible with both hitting at once. I pray for em' all.

Of all the places I've lived, at high elevation, and at high latitudes, I've never seen a place that was "too cold". If I was weather dictator, summer high's would be in the 50's. And that would only be after lunch on Independence Day.
