There was a time when I had a beautiful lawn then the government banned herbicides for non-commercial use..and the crap they sell now is expensive and doesn't work all that well ..

Easiest way to grow a lawn around here is lay down some gravel & park a car on it.
I'm fighting a couple invasive weeds along with the dozen or so usual suspects.
Don't know what I'd do if I had to fight poison ivy, oak, Virginia creeper, morning glory, etc without round-up even though It'll probably get me eventually.

With the right diagrams, it's no big deal if you have a passing knowledge of control systems.
I know a couple of fat fender guys have already done similar with 5.0s, T-5s & AODEs.
.Speed density batch firing 4 injectors per bank a cycle run by a MAP sensor is pretty simple.
Question is, do you wanna' keep the fuse block & headlight/signal lamps.
Or you can go aftermarket for both engine & trans.

Transmission on the project I'm doing is a manual ZF47 , just need the engine to run so not sure what all is needed from the Ford wiring . Road maps are easier for me to follow than wiring diagrams..

While the wiring seems like a mountain to climb it is rather simple compared to newer trucks. As David said, with the proper diagram and help here its nothing you cant tackle. I am lousy at it but David has made it rather simple, even for me.

I forgot your donor was manual, right? And you still have the whole truck & computer?
If so, we should handle it. You could ship to me & I'll hack it over the winter if all else fails. Should be relatively simple.
