2017 and up trailer charging

Ran across this video on YouTube and thought I would share. I know it's been discussed often and it is rather diversified to say the least how the truck charges and how it doesn't based on conditions. 2017 and newer.

Great information. I have seen other threads where people post that their trailer is not charging. Pretty confusing system.
Some if it makes sense but some of it makes no sense...Like door open, truck in neutral, keyfob out...odd.

Yeah - I found some of this info when I was hooking up my enclosed trailer - has an electric tongue jack that uses the 7-pin for power.

Kept hopping out of the truck to adjust, with the keys in my pocket...buddy helping was like "it just quit working" - get back in the truck and it worked...

Definitely a head-scratcher for a few minutes; along with a "what the hell were these engineers thinking?
