messed up water pump?
i went to remove my dist. to start rebuilding the top end of my 88 302 and found someone put nuts and bolts in the top of the water pump just long enough so i couldn't get to the dist hold down. and the bolts in the water pump had lock tight on them. a little torch to heat them up and the lock tight finally broke loose. what a pain.
