water pump bolts
But.....I forgot to note the placement of the water pump/timing chain cover bolts. And as you know, there are about 6 different types of bolts in this assembly (some long, some short, some regular hex bolt heads, some hex with studs, etc.). Also, I broke one and lost another some how.
Two questions...
1. Does anyone had a good picture or exploded view of the water pump/timing cover assembly with the bolts?
2. Can I buy a good replacement bolt kit or individual bolts that are exact matches for OEM bolts, studs, etc.? I need them like yesterday!
Thanks,
Jim
Make Sure you use plenty of anti-seize on these bolts. Sometimes you have to remove the timing chain cover just to replace the water pump because the bolts will seize in the water pump & will break when you try to remove them. Now you will have to twist around on the water pump until you break them off in the block and drill them out.
