Check the rust condition near the exhaust ports. Just in case.

drivers side is fine, passenger side is a bit more rusty on bolts and manifold but looks
like the head and port area will be just fine

Just did a 7 mile back road drive with the parts truck. Mechanically it is likely the smoothest running and shifting 7.3 I have driven

Eric, what is your definition of "stockish, about stock and PMSconqueredBack2Stockish"?

Specifically turbo, injectors and tuning or lack there of.

You know how much I love the driveability and performance out of my 266,000 mile stock injectors, 363/68/.91 SX-E and PHP 65 HP tune, but what works very well for me may be very poor for someone else.

Just being nosey instead of waiting...

Perhaps a KC 63/68, AD/30s, and stockish tuning

Stock everything thats on parts truck motor, then either the kc stage 1 I have on truck now, or mst. Then just a hydra with a basic 65hp tune.
That makes resale easy when I decide to go to newer

Most of my add ons, performance stuff, extra stuff will all be sold off (a good bit already has)

I need simple. reliable. good mpg, easy resale when the time comes. No longer need tinker time, headaches, more power, fast, broken.
Life has changed, priorities and goals have changed, truck hobby has been cut from my list of things for now, which is good with me.

Everything I meed is in good shape, and the rusted body and frame that are trash made it good and cheap, so even though it is a shame it is rotted out, I am glad for it lol

4.30 gears will be fun with a 6 speed. How are you liking the KC stage 1? Thought you would have kept the S363 after hearing how good it performed.

I have a ton of time with a zf6 and 4.10 in my other truck, 4.30 should be really nice for where I spend most of my time driving and towing.

I absolutely loved the borg 363, but how would I have known how the KC stage 1 compared without trying that? I had to find out, and Charlie was game for the tests. There will be a detailed thread for all the findings soon. Everything got put in hold with other more important things going on. Starting to have enough breathing room to try and do a good writeup and likely a podcast about the comparison. It has just been crazy lately.

If you're preferring the KC I'm assuming it performs better than the SXE?

I havent said if I prefer one over the other yet. But I have sold all my t4 stuff, more simply to help free up finances for life adjustments. Either way I have data and opinions which I will share soon. Then its back to stockish truck and shut down my hobby and free up my time
