Well I'm doing literally everything except spring bushings. If that ain't good enough then too bad. Maybe next year.

It would probably be cheaper to just swap a d-60 in it.....if you can find one

There's actually a couple nearby with the proper ratio for around $400 or so. I just don't know what's exactly involved in terms of fabrication, etc. and my lack of free time would probably see the project getting pushed well into winter when I will need the truck fully operable.

As I sit here and look at a nearly completely stripped Dana 44HD, it's hard not to seriously consider it though.

If the 60 is in good shape and has the Trac bar and bracket, and spring pad itis a 5-6 hour bolt in deal.with 250 springs it will ride stiff, but livable
