Cool Just saying hi

I thought i would introduce myself here in this forum since it is where i will probably be spending the most time.

I have been interested in "old time cars", as i called them when i was four or five, all my known life.

i was lucky enough to have a high school shop teacher who was heavy into the streetrod culture and owner of several projects, all of which we worked on as part of our education.

Over the past few years i have purchased a few projects of my own and, due to other priorities, have had to put them aside for awhile.

I used to have the priviledge of living a stones throw from one of the greatest yards in the country. I am glad i took the opportunity to "stock up" before leaving.

Due to my absence from hands on experience and general forgetfulness...please excuse me ahead of time for the use of non-traditional terms such as: thingy, that thing, or other such descriptions.

The bug has bit again, and i spent this morning removing the bed from the 34 pickup.

I look forward to learning here and contributing where i can.

Thanks for this place.

Hey Arnold - Welcome to FTE.

I'm sure you'll find this site most helpful, I sure did when we first started our '41. If you're planning on doing the bodywork and all yourself, you might want to check out the Bodywork Forum as well.

Welcome to FTE from a fellow Arizonian, Arnold.

I know the feeling of having to put projects on the back burner to tend to other priorities...been putting my trucks off for about 4 years now.

Lots of info and knowledge here...and of course, share any you may have with us.

Again, welcome.
