Ive used All Star Standard Transmission out of Tampa, FL for years. The last few ZF6’s were $1950 plus freight ($150).

Just mentioning this for comparison. Curious what you’ll spend in parts to DIY.

A couple of options (contact links) for a ZF6 are below, including the contact details for All Star Standard Trans mentioned by SkySkiJason.I have a couple more in the southeast of the United States, but the shops I listed above are the top 4 choices that I have on file. High Impact I have very little information about other than an FTE'r that has used them in the past.

Thanks .im in ohio. I bought trans for parts.i got two good 2wd. Zf6 but 2wd no good here. I waa hoping to salvage mainshaft but its going be bad. At least i got the tail housing. Im waiting on a long reach puller ,going to take apart for fun and part out .maybe recover some funds.

That picture above.does that cintact reverse idler because its messed up but doesnt make contact with mainshaft gear.?

I’ve had a few local customers that had bad experiences with Southern Gear. Not recommended.

call up trans rebuild places tell them you have cores for sale. Trying to part out transmission parts is gonna take forever

Its the 1st gear thats roasted.? 4th gear is on input shaft?
