Engine Pull - recommendations to replace?

Hello I'm going to pull the 4.9L engine from my '84 2wd f150 to replace the oil pan gasket. 4 speed manual

It has a relatively unknown history, what else do you guys recommend I replace with the engine out?

Thanks

I would replace all the external gaskets as well as the rear main seal. It may be cheaper for you to get a full gasket kit. You won't need the head gasket, but you will need everything else. All the rubber and gasket material gets old and hard with age.

While you have the timing cover off, take a look at the timing gear on the camshaft. They are made of a fiber material and though it's rare, they have been known to strip some teeth.

I would replace the motor mounts and transmission mounts. Most likely the rubber has dryed out and fallen apart.
