Id go with the super springs as well as recommended above. I use them also. I have used tork lifts upper and lowers. Lowered rusted to crap and uppers need modifications to properly fit. Supers springs uppers fit like a glove, it’s a quality product. Tork lifts don’t fit the bump stop cradle real well and they are way overpriced.

I totally agree on the super spring upper bump stops fitting the curved bracket well & they worked flawless on my F350 with Timbrens on a 13k mile loop to AlaskA

im no fan of the TorkLift deals that clamps to the leaf springs.

DRW Truck is the only way to go when you get up around 3k lbs of camper imo.

so much safer & no sway on the highway.

I like my Helwig Big Wig adjustable rear sway bar too

I have the identical setup as Brown Dog KTM(Super Spring Stops w/spacer & Timbrens Severe Service w/ 1" spacer)on my '23 F250 CCLB 7.3 w/ camper/snow plow package to carry my Northstar 8.5 Arrow U. Truck handling much improved on recent 3000 mile trip compared to initial setup with the Super Spring Stops but no Timbrens. Traded stories along the way with a guy that had an Arctic Fox 8.11 on his F350 CCSB PSD with no modifications. He felt his handled it just fine, so I guess it's possible to put a heavy hard side camper on an unmodified truck. This is what seems to work for me; I'm not anticipating any additional modifications at this time.

I have air bags on my 2002 F 350 SB to carry my Northern Lite 8-11. This works well but can be a pain to keep things level side to side. In consideration of a new truck I am wrestling with the whole ride quality, Camper Special, Timbrens, different shocks, sway bars? issue. Some are telling me that the new trucks ride better and koolhandluke1's example sure looks good. Does anyone have experience with a newer truck that doesn't have a Camper Special package?

the newer super duty’s ride WAY BETTER than 2004 & older with front leafs.

Plus the newer trucks has 12” longer rear leaf springs making them handle weight much better WITHOUT sacrificing ride quality empty.

Fred,
Maybe rear lift blocks that are a couple inches taller. Or, if you like the ride, as is, the other answer above which is to simply run your headlight aim down a few degrees.
I've tried Super Sway Stops, and they were mushed out of shape within 6 months. So scratch that set.
Next came the tried and true upper Stable Loads which have held up well. I used them on my '01 Cummins 2500 + Lance 165s to good avail.
But that included adding two more upper overload springs bringing the the upper pack to three leaves. Plus Rancho 9KXL's set to "9".
I had my fling with air bags many years ago, which I finally took to the landfill. Too much recoil, or as my friend above noted, "Too much boinga-boinga". I had a chance to install the lower Stable Loads but declined as there were rust woes and, from my perspective, clearance woes underneath.
Now that I have had experience with suspension tuning, which takes into account the weight limit of the truck (4190 pounds payload), suspension, anti sway bar or not, and weight of the camper (2350#, wet-water ((40 gallons)) prop) I think I'm at equilibrium with just enough sway control to suit my style but still have enough suspension travel to make it over some rather attractive undulating real estate. Oh, and the truck sits flat-on with the camper on and the uppers engaged.

Those responses are great info when I can explain to my wife not just that the ride in the new trucks is better but that adjustments can be made to tune it through after-market vendors.

I have a 2012 F350 DRW and a Host Rainer camper. I have Stable Loads and air bags, I call it my old mans truck. That thing is so low to the ground I can't get under it on a creeper.... I regress, with the Stable loads turned in and minimum air in the air bags it squats just a little and ride nice but firm, handles the corners well. Out on the Freeway I pump up the air bags and smooths the ride out tremendously. It's nice to have on board air to be able to adjust the air bags on the fly. I also have the Rancho RS9000 adjustable shocks, there nice to have also, I wish they still made the remote control for them.

I know what your saying.

My 2016 F350 sits way lower than my 2019 F350 & both are 4wd.
