Back again with a PO411 code
Secondary air injection issue. The smog pump was removed over a year ago seeing we couldn't locate one. This was done at a shop down the road from me. I have tried to you tube to see what I can do but nothing really stood out on what to look for or fix. It's a 1996 Ford F150 with the 302/5.0 motor. There are so many hoses and odd things for me to simply figure out by looking it over. I'm use to the plain jane 302 back in the day but these fuel injection models have the medusa look. lol. It's like where do you start to look to see if maybe a leak is the issue or is it a part failing? Maybe somebody has a picture of where to start? Thanks

If pump is gone you will never get CEL to go away, unless you get turner and tune it out/off, but this tells what could have

That was a interesting read. I can say this is going to be a Saturday for me testing things. After the pump was removed, it didn't have a light for a long time. It just odd because sometimes it will stay on few day's and then it will go off for a time. It seems this is going to be a seek and find problem. Thanks for the thread post.
