Any insight on why my rear blinkers will not work with LED replacement bulbs? I have changed the headlights from factory to morimoto on my 2021 super duty and have zero issues. I’ve also replaced both brake lights bulbs and reverse lights with LED from morimoto, with zero issues. I have ordered two different sets of signal replacements and can’t get either to work. OEM bulb is WTY21W, which cross references with 7440. I found on one website 7440 & 7443 will work. I have both and tried both, neither work! Any help would be much appreciated! I feel like it’s something very stupid and simple I’m looking over but can’t seem to pin point it. Thanks in advance
Many blinker/flasher LEDs will require a "resistor kit" to draw enough current to make the truck think the original halogen bulb is still there. The lack of current draw from the LED make the truck think the bulb is burned out.
This is why I haven't gone to LED blinkers/flashers. I do have LED fog lights, brake/tail lights, reverse and tag lights. None of these require resistors.
The low amp draw just makes the flasher flash very fast, but not not work at all.
On my truck, the turn signal bulbs are super bright just as they come from the factory, were it me, I'd just leave them be.

Thanks for the reply. I have resistors installed and still nothing! To my understanding, the resistors are only to correct the hyper flash of the LED and shouldn’t keep it from working. Thanks again
Your dash will hyper flash but the bulb itself will blink at regular speed.
This has been my experience also. Using FORScan I programmed the hyper flash out and have never had to use resistors and every light in my truck has been replaced with LED.

Thats great to hear! I just want them to work! Do I need to take my truck to a dealer to get that done?
