cac tube blowing off

Sorry if there is already a newer thread for this but everything I found was older. I blow my CAC tube off at least once a year towing. Are there any newer updates or tricks to keep this from happening? I see sinister diesel has a silicon boot kit with what seems to be upgraded clamps. Has anyone had good luck with those or know of another brand I should try instead?
Thank you

How old are your boots? Did you get all of the oil off before reinstalling them?

I've always ran the stock ones without anything special but always make sure to get them 100% clean before reinstallation. I also think I tighten down the clamps more than recommended. Never had a problem.

I got new CAC boots from Riff Raff diesel a few years ago along with all new clamps from them and have never had a problem since. I frequently get 20 to 21 pounds of boost pulling and have never had them come off again. I cleaned the crap out of everything with brake cleaner when I did the job, including cleaning the new boots inside. Works perfect for me. Anyone else?

Clean the boots and tube.
Then make sure the rib is
in the groove.

The hair spray will also help.

You might also check the ends
of the tubes to make sure that
they have not been crushed over
time from over Tightening.
the open end gets crushed smaller
than the pipe near where it necks
down from the center of the tube.

Thank you guys, the boots were replaced a year and a half ago. The issue always happens on the road so I didn't clean them because we were not in a good place to be stopped. I will take them off and clean them up good and make sure the tube isn't crushed as well.
