Door Handles

The eternal door handle problems bite again. I need a source of GOOD door handles for my '66. I needed to replace one that is wallered out so I went thru my collection of handles. Some marked "Ford" and some not marked. They are all junk and wallered out. Some of them have the screw hole right on the splines and they only results in damage to the shaft. A couple I have have the screw hole on a better place like the pic but are wore out.
My question, I can find them here and there new but there is no guarantee they are made correctly so I put this out to the gang here. Does anybody know of a supplier that has well made correct handles? At this point I'd even consider a custom handle if it works and doesn't wear out right away?

Thanks in advance.

[Update] After looking at the handles and a new door latch mechanism I have but haven't installed I learned a bit more. The door latch mechanism has a "nose" that needs to go past the splines in order for the screw to go unto the groove right after the splines on the door latch mech shaft. In other words if the hole on the door handle doesn't let the door mech shaft go in far enough the set screw won't go into the groove and the door handle will not get good purchase with the door mech shaft.
The OEM Ford door handles mesh with the splines in the door mech but won't let the door mech shaft go in far enough to allow the set screw to go into the groove. The after market door handles will allow the handle go on farther and the groove will line up with the set screw while the OEM Ford door handles hole isn't big enough to allow the door handle to go on far enough.
In the bottom line is the nose on the after market door latch mech is too fat. You can't really drill out the OEM door handle because lining up the drill as not to trash the splines is way beyond my capabilities and so I think I'm going to try to sand the nose to reduce the diameter to allow it to fit all the way into the OEM door handle.

The Ford handles are a much better fit in the splines so I want to use them.

P.S. The way Ford designed the door setup somebody is always pushing and pulling on the door handle and this kills them pretty quick. I'm guilty of this my self.
