I find the OEM LED in my '22 Platinum to be even better than the LED ion my '18 Platinum.. Some of the best stock headlights I have seen, save for maybe on the wife's AMG C43..
those are surprisingly great as well.

I'm sure the newer LEDs are different, but when I converted to OEM leds from halogen on my 17 250 I was, and still am, very happy with the results. It was easy to convert and the price was not much different than the numbers you are quoting. Only a few forescan changes were needed, and my harness maker provided great instructions and a quality harness.

Can only speak from my 2017 quad beam perspective, but I hate them. They are too white and not hot enough to melt the type of snow that frequently gets caked on here in the mountain passes of the PNWet. It's the only vehicle that's ever required me to wait until daylight to continue driving over a pass. In the truck's defense, I'm not sure anyone in any vehicle would have wanted to make the drive I was trying to make at the time I was trying to make it. It was one of the worst nighttime snowstorms I've driven in, but I was nonetheless humbled by being forced to camp out overnight.

After that, I ordered the KD Fabworks bracket and 2 pairs of amber lights from Baja (one flood, one wide). Those are like the sun. Emergencies only, really, otherwise I feel like too much of a dick.

All of the above having been said, I don't know if the halogen lights would have melted snow off the lenses quickly enough, but that's the story I tell myself in my head anyway. Either way, I do know that bright white light on bright white snow (with flakes the size of small dogs) is no bueno.

my 2022 LEDS definitely put off heat, i can not quantify it is more than what the 2017 LEDS do. If there is a difference in heat probably not an appreciable difference, if any.

Just FYI, The stock 2022 Halogens with the dual H13 bulbs were hot as fire. The nerves in my hands don't react much to heat, that said after the halogens were running for 20-30 minutes the exterior plastic had to be 150-180 degrees F, probably more. Approx 140w in a closed environment the size of head light.

Their customer service is first class. The programming instructions to allow the OEM LED headlights to function as if they were stock worked perfectly. It's about ~10 code changes and a module calibration. I'd do your research before choosing a vendor for this conversion harness as you are not just buying the harness, you're also buying the forscan instructions and customer service if you run into issues.
dang it, now i'm on that site looking at swapping my xlt 17 lights for the LED ones.

I am using the Auxito led's and so far I am happy as they are much brighter than halogen. I couldn't believe how yellow halogens are once I installed the led's. So far I have not been flashed by oncoming traffic.
