OEM LEDs are nice and provide better illumination, at least for the 2019 MY. I overnight test drove an XL, followed by a King Ranch with the LEDs. When I ordered the truck, I would have had to jump to the Lariat Ultimate just to have the option to add LEDs. I specifically did not want push-to-start and a sunroof, so I stayed with the Lariat Value. I think it was about $1k for the LEDs, which would need an additional binder with the extended warranty to cover it. I saw some posts about the outer trim burning out or the units just failing. I think the extended warranty would be worth it for this part.
LEDs would be a nice upgrade, but I didn't feel it was worth it; especially because the truck is a leisure vehicle and not a daily driver. If you use the truck much more often, then it would probably be worth it
It would have been nice if the OEM halogens had projector lens; many cars come with LED lighting standard now.
I'm not impressed with my 2022 factory LED headlights. The fog lights are absolutely worthless. I really hate the rainbow colors around the edge of the beam. The light output is adequate, but they still offend other drivers, even with an empty bed. I drove to the airport a few weeks ago with my wife following me in my truck and can verify the glare for other people on the road is terrible, even when they are aimed correctly.
I can't speak compared to factory halogens.
I'm in a rental car 300+ days a year and have driven about everything out there to compare to. The factory LED headlights on my 2022 F350 are nothing to get excited about. The low beams on a Corolla are far better and don't blind anybody.
At least I can see what's in front of me now, unlike my 2015 F350 factory headlights. Those were an embarrassment for Ford.
More than likely on the new / next SD and starting with the XLT, just like the current F150, reflector LED headlights will be standard equipment and the mid to high Lariats and up will receive dynamic projector LED headlights as standard equipment.
I installed the OEM LEDs in my 2022 today. I used one of the available harnesses online. The actual install was a pain in the butt. The passenger bulkhead grommet is tough to reach and the BCM plug that requires tapping is downright painful to manipulate without removing the passenger seat. The end result is great though. My 60k XLT looks like one of the lariat ultimates from the front now.
Compared to the halogens, the LEDs are substantially brighter with a better beam spread. The high beams are very impressive.

Thats great to hear!!! Where did you get your harness?
Their customer service is first class. The programming instructions to allow the OEM LED headlights to function as if they were stock worked perfectly. It's about ~10 code changes and a module calibration. I'd do your research before choosing a vendor for this conversion harness as you are not just buying the harness, you're also buying the forscan instructions and customer service if you run into issues.

Just curious how much did the OEM lights cost? Harness? Thanks

~$3310 with new lights, new ballasts, and Black Flame Customs harness.
$2546.50 for both light assemblies from Fairway Ford
$335.87 for both ballasts from Fairway
$425.00 for harness and instructions
No doubt a ton of money but going from my XLT to a lariat ultimate (w/ LED option) is a 10k jump in price.
I really (truely) wanted cloth seats, i am a fan of good ole mechanical seats because they don't break (and work without 12v power,) and I like to think a truck with a key is less likely to be stolen than a push start button truck. For these reasons I'd rather upgrade my XLT and pocket the rest. I will not be selling or trading my truck in, so it makes sense to me. Atleast that's how I justify it.
P.s. my prices include taxes and all shipping costs
LED's were an $1180 option on my 22 Lariat.............much cheaper than any of the aftermarket upgrades.............they light up the night...........

having tried the best aftermarket options for headlights, the factory LEDs are indeed better. I agree.
I am pretty much positive your LEDs were only a $1180 option after selecting lariat ultimate package (which of course is only available for the lariat trim)
