I changed oil today and the Motocraft filters I got from Rock Auto don't fit the filter tool for normal Motocraft filters, I had to use the one that fits FRAM and others. I'm wondering if Ford had to change suppliers I know that Walmart hasn't had their filters in a while.
They have definitely changed. I ordered six new ones because my local Walmart hasn't had any Motorcraft filters for a while now either; they didn't come individually boxed and they look completely different:
